Tackle Travel Stress in Your Toyota!

Before there were no-gas, 100% electric cars on the road there was a family that went by the name of the Jetsons. Maybe you've heard of them!

If you have, you'll probably remember that most of us were about Elroy's age when we first saw their futuristic vehicle take flight. Up until we were adolescents like Judy, I'm sure we believed that their car was real. If your parents were anything like George and Jane, every trip was rushed and despite their best efforts, always just a bit behind schedule.

While we're not close to having consumer production flying cars, we are edging closer to semi-autonomous vehicles with manufacturer designers working hard to take technology to the next level. All of this is incredibly exciting and we find ourselves ready to rock onto the next big idea. That said, we do want to encourage you to slow down and enjoy the relaxation that you should be enjoying on the road!

Take a look at some tips we pulled together that may entice you to treat your next road trip a little less like a business engagement and more like a kickback with an old friend.

Step 1: If you're not driving, get comfy! There's no reason you can't kick off your shoes and put your feet up on the dash.

Step 2: Play your favorite song on full blast. Enjoy the fall air in your hair while you can and sing at the top of your lungs!

Step 3: Make stops along the way. While getting places in a timely manner is important to travelers, rushing makes you miss things! Stop and smell the roses...or the pumpkin patch. Whatever you happen to run into first.

Step 4: Take a deep breath and relax. Half of the battle is getting out to the car and getting onto the road.
