Dear Readers,
Toyota of Morristown is hosting our locals for a Memorial Day Weekend celebration!
Be sure to stop in to our Toyota store from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Saturday the 24th and 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Memorial Day to partake in the festivities.
We'll be grilling up hot dogs, serving refreshments and will have a popcorn machine on both days! In addition, we'll be featuring the musical stylings of Erich the DJ Guy. Need fun for the kids? No problem!
We will have a balloon artist on hand as well as a bubble machine that shoots cannon sized bubbles. Talk about fun for all!
Come take a break with your favorite local dealership, check out our new models and get to know our team.
We look forward to seeing you soon!

Age Old Trick to Test Your Tire Tread
The tread on your tires should
never fall below 1/16 of an inch (1.6 millimeters) in depth. If you regularly
drive on slick, wet surfaces, you may be better off with twice that much!
There's also an old trick that will give you a rough idea of how much tread depth you have left, and it requires only a penny! Take a regular ol' penny and insert Abe's head (head-down) into the tread. If Lincoln's entire head remains visible, you don't have enough tread.
If this is the case, you should bring your car into our Service Department and see about getting a new set of tires!

Tackle Travel Stress in Your Toyota!
Before
there were no-gas, 100% electric cars on the road there was a family
that went by the name of the Jetsons. Maybe you've heard of them!

If you have, you'll probably remember that most of us were about Elroy's age when we first saw their futuristic vehicle take flight. Up until we were adolescents like Judy, I'm sure we believed that their car was real. If your parents were anything like George and Jane, every trip was rushed and despite their best efforts, always just a bit behind schedule.
While we're not close to having consumer production flying cars, we are edging closer to semi-autonomous vehicles with manufacturer designers working hard to take technology to the next level. All of this is incredibly exciting and we find ourselves ready to rock onto the next big idea. That said, we do want to encourage you to slow down and enjoy the relaxation that you should be enjoying on the road!
Take a look at some tips we pulled together that may entice you to treat your next road trip a little less like a business engagement and more like a kickback with an old friend.
Step 1: If you're not driving, get comfy! There's no reason you can't kick off your shoes and put your feet up on the dash.
Step 2: Play your favorite song on full blast. Enjoy the fall air in your hair while you can and sing at the top of your lungs!
Step 3: Make stops along the way. While getting places in a timely manner is important to travelers, rushing makes you miss things! Stop and smell the roses...or the pumpkin patch. Whatever you happen to run into first.
Step 4: Take a deep breath and relax. Half of the battle is getting out to the car and getting onto the road.

Toyota: Lego Edition
Dear Readers,
We've seen tattoos, fans dressed in their car-pride best and key rings that weighs at least a pound with Toyota key chains. For these fans, a few Lego creations were the easiest way to express their enthusiasm.
What do you think, friends? How far will you go to share your Toyota pride?

Funny Laws in the Garden State
Dear Readers,
We were looking for some funky facts that you may not know about New Jersey and happened upon some goofy state laws! Check 'em out:
In New Jersey:
- cabbage can't be sold on Sunday.
- you may not slurp your soup.
- it is against the law for a man to knit during the fishing season.
- it is illegal to delay or detain a homing pigeon.
We hope that they gave you a reason to chuckle and wish you a fantastic Friday!
